friday call day
yup it’s true. touchwood!!

6 sales calls and one onboarding in the last 24 hours.

We figured messaging, ICP and just did it ourselves.

Honestly, sometimes it gets demotivating with cold emails.
- you don’t get replies
- a ton of ooo replies
- a lot of NO or not interested
- and a lot who can’t bother

and then this happens:

not writing to flex. but rather to tell you that it’s not worth giving up
as cliche as it sounds. keep trying
it’ll work

i would give you the script but what works for me wont work for you also if everyone sends the same thing, it’s going to work for no one

Voice AI Decisions That Impact Your Bottom Line

Learn how today’s contact centers are deploying AI faster, reducing costs, and improving customer experience with smarter model and platform choices.

This guide explains the trade-offs between small and large language models, showing how smaller models can deliver faster response times and lower costs without sacrificing quality. It also highlights where large models begin to add complexity and slow down performance, helping you make the right decision for scale and simplicity.

i got forwarded the below from someone. an agency we worked with is using our name saying they got us 17 qualified calls in a month.

did they get us those many calls? yes?
qualified? no chance. not a single one
conversions? 0
any of them had budgets? nope

don’t use names of brands who you didn’t deliver for

it’s so easy to do background checks. better to do good work
then to fake it and mess up your reputation!

anyways moving on from my rant. here’s what you should learn:
1. your cold emails need real case studies (a brand the ICP recognises, numbers he can’t get without you)
2. an offer. pilot. audit. anything
3. and most importantly, a followup which isn’t “just following up”

i hear a ton of founders saying keep following up. no. dont
if they dont reply in 2 emails. drop them. dont bother
if they do get on a call and then ghost. followup till they block you

why the difference in approach?

one burns your domain. which means all your outbound gets hit
the other burns their patience. they will get tired and give you a response

proof it works:
