Arnav, today’s newsletter isn’t about winning, it’s about the journey of winning
umm. if you understood with the above line what I meant, you know what this is
it’s the overuse of AI
first, we used to get frustrated when we spotted ai lingo when our content team wrote
but when the clients do it, then what 😢
i mean i get it, but sometimes the issue is AI is going to give feedback because you’ve asked it to
the issue: it doesn’t know what you want. it can read images when you send it a doc.
it’s just giving feedback for the heck of it when it doesn’t even know the topic / intent / goal
if i ask ai to give feedback on the tweet when im a cardiovascular surgeon. it will make it for dummies
is that what i want? do i want what everyone is doing? does the same thing work for everyone?
NOPE
so yes, this is a rant
and a polite ask.
clients often say: send me a one pager as a proposal
my ask: send us pointers with actual feedback you have. it takes minutes
it’s easy for me to run the client’s feedback and our work in gpt and say fix
but that defeats the purpose of working together and being different to get results
if this is how it continues. it’ll be agents talking to agents. let’s go back to humans talking to humans plejjjj
let’s normalise human reviews, human feedback, and human effort.
we’re doing work for your audience. not for their agents
on another note, a lot of cool things happened this week:
1. first edition of 2 new clients scheduled!!!
2. that’s how much we made a client through ads last month (just one of the clients)
3. we’re in the final stages of proposal / discussion with 2 big leads 👀
