i can go on about it and how we solved it

but 2 weeks later, we deployed the edition to 117k folks
and 48% open rate and under 100 unsubs!

boom. success

so what’s the point of telling you all this?

sometimes, it’s your data that matters more than the platform
it’s the vibe you have with the audience more than the design
and the content more than branding on the edition

a lot of times we get tunnel visioned into this feature that feature
and lose on the fact of fundamentals

own your audience and build a relationship
the rest will follow

my person fav platforms in order of preference is now
beehiiv/mailmodo/substack
kit
mailchimp
etc

the reason 3 are tied? all are great in their own ways
beehiiv is the most feature rich and easiest to use
substack because great deliverability, free growth and no cost
mailmodo because of amp
