AI cannot replace us…

So, you know how sometimes you blast out an email and ………NOTHING, right?

Let's break this down with a real-world example:

Scenario A:

You fire off an email to 100 people about an upcoming event. You toss in a link and call it a day. Result? Maybe 1 person bothers to sign up. Eww.

Scenario B:

Now, here's where it gets interesting. You send the same email, but this time you spill the beans on why you're hosting this event.

And instead of just dropping the link, you ask them to reply if they want it. Suddenly, you've got 10 people knocking on your digital door. Sometimes it's even 18…

That is the magic of good copywriting.

It's all about creating that intent, making people actually want to engage. It's like the difference between shouting "Free food!" in a crowded room and saying, "Hey, I made your grandma's secret recipe. Wanna taste?"

This is where AI hits a bit of a wall. Sure, it can string together some fancy words, but nailing that human touch, understanding the psychology behind why people click or reply? That's still our turf. It's about connecting, storytelling, and sometimes just being real.

So next time you're crafting that email or post, think about how you can spark that intent.

What can you say that'll make them go, "Huh, I actually want to know more about this"?

Want to see some crazy results for your brand?

When team members don't work out…

Ugh, guys.

We had to let a person go recently. It sucks, but hey, that's startup life for ya.

Sometimes folks just don't fit, you know?

We try our best - give 'em time to learn the ropes, train 'em up, the whole nine yards. But if it's still not clicking after all that? Well, we gotta make the tough call.

Why am I bringing this up? 'Cause it's rough, that's why.

When new people join, everyone gets comfy, you share your life traumas, maybe hit up happy hour... and then bam, they're gone. It messes with the vibe, big time.

But here's the thing - we can't ignore it when someone's not cutting it. It's not fair to them, and it's definitely not fair to the rest of us busting our butts.

So yeah, we're dealing with it. It's not pretty, but it's part of building this thing we all believe in. We'll learn from it, maybe tweak how we hire, and keep pushing forward.

Big W this week…

A. Community Love Hits Different 💖

Yo, getting a shoutout in a Slack community with 60k+ peeps? That's the good stuff right there!

Feels awesome to know our hustle is getting noticed out there in the wild.

B. DO NOT FORGET TO SUB

We had a mini heart attack this week.

Forgot to pay for Superblog (oops) and bam!

Our traffic nosedived by 80%.

But here's the win: we caught it, fixed it fast, and boom - traffic's back baby!

Lesson learned: Pay your subs, kids.

Big takeaway: Sometimes the wins are in the quick fixes and the "holy crap, that was close" moments.

We’ve got people flying in from Bangalore, Pune, Guwahati, Jaipur, and more – everyone’s excited (except the road journey xD)!

And guess what? We’ve all pulled off a miracle by cramming 2 weeks of work into just 1 week. Talk about teamwork!

So, get ready – imma spam pictures on the next edition.

Any suggestions for what we should do around Manali? Would love to add some more places to our list.

We're looking for some underrated experiences!

P.S. We'll be there for a week!
