Let’s talk something a bit different today.
People are going to lose jobs faster than you can imagine.
I had my 1:1s with the team this week. And a recurring statement from the design team?
What skillset can the company benefit with given AI?
Think about it, the best of the best 3d work that CRED does can now be done in minutes.
I feel for the freelancers who used to make 500-2000 per poster.

It’s not f*ckin easy.
You spend years learning and building a portfolio.
Only to put that portfolio into AI to get the same output for another brand in mins?
It sucks.
I was called a maniac for being a doomer believer.
But that’s the reality. We’ve got very little time to make a lot of money before we can make little to no money.
I might be extreme in my statements. But that’s me.
What did I tell them?
You’re safe.
Inagiffy crossed 500K USD GMV, a while back (i only checked books rn becuase of FY ending).
It’s been a phenomenal learning for us.
When we started, the question we used to get.
”Oh, you make money of what people put in that footer?”
”Does anyone even read emails?”

We’ve been fortunate to scale to today’s date.
Fortune to work with the largest brands, people, and partners in the world.
Decathlon, ICICI bank, Aditya Birla, RPG, Ankur Warikoo, Nas Daily, the list goes on.
And no, we’re not shutting the agency.
But do I anticipate scale of upwards of $10 Mn ARR doing this?
No.
We can keep building and being happy with crores.
OR build crores for each team member.
We choose option B. Let’s make the team have this as their last stint.
Let’s ensure no one has to worry about job safety or skills.
Let’s ensure we’re future proof and don’t have anxiety.
I am so freakin sure about what we’re building, and how it’s going to work.
It’s scalable. The goal is $100k a month by December.
But the problem?
It’s going to take a lot of jobs away.
Sometimes, it is a zero-sum game.
Am I happy about it? No
Do i want to make sure my core team makes dolla dolla? Yes.
Something’s got to give.
And I won’t let my team give.

1. We let go of 2 folks
We tend to have a chill culture unlike typical agencies. But if they misuse it and it causes the ops team to do their job despite 3 strikes, we have 0 tolerance
2. We entered a new service offering
I don’t want to talk much about it till we onboard 5 customers. Rn we’re at 3 in this new offering. But I’m bullish and see more demand (feels like I have a path clear for agency alongside product).
3. THREE of our customers want to double down with us
Yup, retainer increasing between 15% to 200%
